    MORE STUFF!!

Not much to talk about today. There is stuff going on and then there is more stuff. Today,I will discuss more stuff. Regular stuff will have to wait until another day.

I have a Gruen wristwatch that finally broke down after five years. I found all the paperwork on it and discovered it has fifteen years warranty. So,I'll pack it up and send it back to Gruen in Long Island,New York for repair or replacement (whatever is less costly). Because it has Swiss made movements, Gruen may decide to replace the watch. I'll have to wait and see. I'm going to  my local Walmart store and buy a cheap watch for about $15 so I can have a watch until my Gruen watch is returned. Maybe it is a guy thing, but I have to keep track of time during the day. My cell phone has a clock in it but I keep it locked up at work.

If there is a New York and a New Jersey, could there be an Old New York and an Old New Jersey?  At least, it is something to think about. And who might be living in these Old states? Could they be old people or people who just want to get away from it all? Think about it!

Every so often, I come across a really good book that keeps me glued to it. That ever happen to you? You know what I mean. I'm talking about the kind of book that you read late into the night propped up in bed. You keep turning the pages, completely engrossed in each chapter, not caring how late the hour is. For your approval, I am submitting the book written by the late Martin Caidin titled "Ghosts Of The Air". Caidin wrote well over 150 books, many of them on aviation. And he was an avid aviation buff who owned and restored a German WW II Ju-52 plane he nicknamed "Iron Annie".  A picture of him standing in the cockpit of the JU-52 is featured on page 69 of Ghosts.. . "What is this book about"?, you are probably asking. As the name implies, it is about ghosts and paranormal events concerning all aspects of aviation from WW I to modern times. It is likes the "X-Files" with one big difference. The stories told in this book are all based on true events. This 2007 edition that I came across was published by Barnes & Noble and is available in their bookstores at an affordable price.

OK! That is my more stuff for today. What stuff have you been into lately? My blog site is always open. Have a nice day!!
